NEW MEDIA: HISTORY, TYPOLOGY

SUMMARY

The term New Media and New Media, our turnover was relatively recent. Although all experts agree that under this definition fall Internet, mobile, interactive outdoor advertising, etc., the definition is still rather vague and unclear. Traditionally, new media is understood interactive electronic media. This approach is both correct and complete. Personalize content and become a sign of new media. The article analyzes the different interpretations of the term New Media and the definition which, in our opinion, is the most specific. Also, the article discusses the benefits of new media to traditional and their features, as new media have unique features compared to traditional media, indestructible, self-repairing and viral by nature. Since 2010, the main prize in the world of journalism - a Pulitzer Prize, examines entries submitted in the new media and digital formats. Feature of creation and existence of new media is also a fact that their start in life do not need to invest heavily.

In addition, contributions can make any people in any number of which are on different continents and in different countries even without leaving your computer. Considered as a platform on which activities can new media opportunities and the history of them in Ukraine, and especially new media technologies based on Web 2.0. In addition, the set of the first online edition in Ukraine, their present and long-term development.
