WHEN PARTICIPATING IN MOBILITY ACTIVITIES
ERASMUS CHARTER FOR HIGHER EDUCATION 2021-2027

1. How is mobility organized and implemented at your university for staff
How are the participants selected. How is the participation in mobilities recognized?

The University has a Regulation on the procedure for exercising the right to academic mobility participants in the educational process of the Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine", approved by Order No. 160 of December 28, 2023. All procedural points are written in this Regulation.
Academic mobility participants are selected in accordance with the requirements of the Procedure for participation in the academic mobility program.
According to clause 2.3. of the Regulation Provisions Selection of participants of academic mobility of the University for participation in academic mobility programs is carried out on a competitive basis, according to the following criteria, but not limited to them:
taking into account their performance rating (no academic debts during the last academic year, letters of recommendation, provided motivation letter and level of foreign language proficiency (not lower than level B2).
Section 3 of the Regulation regulates Recognition of the results of the academic mobility program at the University. Educational academic mobility according to the procedure of recognition of the result of the academic mobility program at the University "Ukraine" is divided into (clause 1.18. Regulations):
• credit, which involves the study of a Ukrainian participant in a foreign or Ukrainian (different from the permanent place of study) partner institution or a foreign participant in a Ukrainian partner institution with the aim of achieving learning outcomes and/or relevant competencies with/without obtaining credits of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation Program systems (further - ECTS credits), which will be recognized in the Ukrainian (for a Ukrainian participant) or foreign (for a foreign participant) partner institution of the permanent place of study;
• degree, which involves the study of a Ukrainian participant in a foreign or Ukrainian partner institution or a foreign participant in a Ukrainian partner institution according to educational programs agreed between such institutions with the aim of obtaining a certain level of education, which gives such a person the right to receive a document on a professional pre-university or higher education in accordance with the procedure established by law.
Organizational support of academic mobility programs at the University - re-enrollment of study results, monitoring of program implementation, etc. is provided by the department of organization of the educational process of management of educational activities (clause 1.15. Provisions).

University "Ukraine" is the only higher education institution in Ukraine of integrated type, open to young people of different levels of training, differentiated social opportunities and different health conditions. This is directly stated in the Statute of the University.

The mission of the University is formed on the basis of autonomy, democratic principles of governance, academic culture, the needs of consumers of educational services and science research, the formation of an inclusive educational environment.
The University «Ukraine» is the first one and unique who has opened the doors for all people including disabled trying to decide their social rehabilitation problem in integrated educational environment. Now the 10% of students with disabilities are studying in the University.
One of the priority topics of the university's research is the development and introduction into the educational process of modern methods and technologies of inclusive education of students with disabilities, innovative technologies for their rehabilitation and socialization of persons with disabilities. Every year at the University there is an international scientific conference "Actual problems of education and training of persons with disabilities in the light of the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities under the conditions of an integrated educational environment", which unites the best practice of the world and Ukraine in effectively solving educational problems, and socialization of persons with disabilities.
We have a unique experience in teaching and in socialization of people with special educational needs from different vulnerable groups, especially of youth with disabilities. The academic staff of the University are experienced Professors, As. Professors have not just conducted theoretical investigations on the topics of the project, but have a huge practical experience of implementation.
